Meet Jeni

For more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. Throughout my career, I’ve helped individuals facing stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship concerns, and major life transitions discover new perspectives, build resilience, and move toward lives that feel more meaningful and authentic.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel and have worked in employee assistance, outpatient mental health, substance use treatment, and healthcare. These experiences have allowed me to work with people from many walks of life, but they’ve also reinforced one simple truth: every person has a unique story, and every person’s path forward is different.

I believe that periods of struggle can also become opportunities for growth. Therapy isn’t simply about reducing symptoms—it’s about understanding what matters most to you, building on your strengths, and creating a life that reflects your values and the person you want to be.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based counseling. Together we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical tools, and create lasting changes that support your emotional well-being.

My Hope for You

Whether you’re reaching out because you’re overwhelmed, navigating a life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply sensing that something in your life needs to change, my hope is that you’ll find a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

Together, we’ll work toward more than simply feeling better. We’ll work toward building a life that feels like your own.

Beyond the Therapy Office

Some of the most meaningful moments in my own life have happened outdoors. Whether I’m hiking, practicing yoga, walking beneath live oaks, or simply spending quiet time in nature, I’ve found that slowing down creates space for clarity, perspective, and healing. That belief has become part of the philosophy behind Fire Horse Wellbeing Partners. While counseling remains at the heart of my practice, my vision extends beyond the traditional therapy office. I offer workshops, retreats, and nature-based experiences that help people reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.
